Terms of Trade
Below is a general overview of our terms relating to Plant Hire, for more
detailed information please contact our Head Office.
Our plant and machinery is hired to customers under the terms and
conditions of Hire Association Europe (HAE), a copy of which can be
provided on request.
The customer is responsible for the daily basic maintenance of the
equipment hired, to include checking oil and coolant levels, and the amount
of fuel.
The customer is strongly recommended to insure the hired equipment
against damage, loss and theft. AWS Plant Hire undertakes to ensure that
all equipment hired by customers has been thoroughly tested by us to the
standards of the appropriate Health and Safety Legislation. AWS Plant Hire
regards customers’ safety to be of paramount importance.
The customer is responsible for making sure that all operators of the hired
equipment are fully conversant with the safe operation of the equipment.
